The Caledonian Hilton Refurbishment
The hotel’s on-going refurbishment programme is due to be completed in the summer of 2012, after which the hotel will become part of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts. For all guests arriving after 1st September, 2012, the hotel’s name will change from the Caledonian Hilton to The Caledonian, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
During this time, access to the hotel will remain from the corner of Lothian Road and Rutland Street and guests can still enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner, served daily in the hotel’s stunning Castle Suite. Afternoon Tea will also be served from 2pm to 5pm in the Castle Suite, seven days a week.
Please be aware that our LivingWell Health Club will close at the end of April until the beginning of September and the Ocean Rooms Spa will be closed permanently from 1st April, 2012.
From 1st April, 2012 the hotel will be 100% non smoking in all guest bedrooms, F&B outlets and public area’s.
At this time, the hotel will not be able to offer guests car parking facilities. There is an NCP car park, located in Castle Terrace which is a three minute walk from the hotel. The address and post code for this NCP car park is Castle Terrace North Road, Edinburgh, EH1 2EW.
